Stephen Kelly was named Chief Executive Officer of Micro Focus in May 2006. Prior to his appointment he served as Chief Executive Officer of Chordiant from January 2002 until February 2006. He served as Chordiant’s President and Chief Operating Officer from October 2000 through January 2002 and as Senior Vice President of International operations from October 1998 through October 2000. Mr. Kelly joined Chordiant in 1997 setting up International Operations from start-up. Prior to this, Mr. Kelly spent almost ten years in a number of senior management positions with Oracle in its vertical markets operations in Financial Services, Telecommunications and Retail, in its European alliances organisation and in its government sales operation. Mr. Kelly received his B.Sc. with honors in business administration from the University of Bath, in England.
