MICRO FOCUS INAUGURATES NEW ST. ALBANS OFFICES
-- Move represents continued commitment to Hertfordshire area --
ST. ALBANS, Herts, UK, June 02, 2004 - Micro Focus International Ltd. (Micro Focus®), the leading provider of COBOL application development and deployment software, today unveils its new St. Albans office at Churchill House, 26/30 Upper Marlborough Road, St. Albans, Herts. The new Hertfordshire presence in St. Albans represents Micro Focus' continued commitment to the region, the community and its employees. Richard Simpson, Vice President Worldwide Sales for Micro Focus, will lead the opening dedication of the new UK office today at 1.00 p.m.
Local dignitary Helen Ives-Rose, LabourCouncillor for the St. Peter's ward of St. Albans will lead the ribbon cutting and plaque unveiling of the new Micro Focus St. Albans office in a ceremony acknowledging the company's contributions to the local economy.

The new office will serve as a key sales hub from which Micro Focus can serve new and existing clients in the Europe, Middle East and African (EMEA) market who wish to migrate, develop, extend and deploy enterprise applications and bridge COBOL with Java™, .NET, Linux and other emerging technology platforms of choice.
