RACING EQUIPMENT LEADS THE WAY WITH MIGRATION TO HP-UX PLATFORM

ROCKVILLE, Md. and ATLANTA, Aug. 17, 2004 - Micro Focus International Ltd. (Micro Focus ) today announced that Summit Racing Equipment, the performance experts and largest automotive performance aftermarket company, headquartered in Tallmadge, Ohio, has chosen Micro Focus and Transoft to complete its HP3000 migration. Together, the two companies will migrate Summit's HP3000 applications to the latest HP-UX technology, preserving the legacy business rules that have helped make Summit Racing Equipment legendary for its customer service.

Migrating to the latest HP technology provides minimal risk at the lowest cost while preserving and enhancing legacy functionality, key factors driving Summit Racing Equipment's migration strategy.
