- Independent customer survey organization honors Micro Focus customer care team with Omega NorthFace ScoreBoard Award across all geographic regions; wins award for second consecutive time in Electronic Support category -

ROCKVILLE, Md., April 11, 2007- Micro Focus®(Micro Focus; LSE: MCRO.L), a leader in enterprise application management and modernization solutions, today announces that it has won the prestigious Omega NorthFace ScoreBoard℠ Award for 2006 for achieving excellence in customer satisfaction in the areas of technical support across all geographic regions it serves. This is the sixth consecutive year that Micro Focus has won the award, demonstrating its commitment to building profitable, long-term customer loyalty by exceeding customer expectations. In addition, Micro Focus has been recognized for the second year in a row for outstanding electronic support, which provides an extensive knowledgebase, product documentation, sample code and direct access for customers to raise and track product incidents.

Omega created the NorthFace ScoreBoard Award program in 2000 to recognize exemplary customer service standards. Omega Management Group Corporation, specialists in helping companies boost revenue and profits by implementing loyalty management strategy programs that increase customer and employee satisfaction, will formally present the awards at its annual Symposium for Customer Operations and Relationship Exposition (SCORE) Conference, June 11-13 at the Seaport Hotel in Boston. Omega Management Group Corporation honored Micro Focus with this award based on its superior customer service and technical support. In a survey of more than 75 companies and more than 165 projects across multiple industry segments around the world, Micro Focus was selected as an award recipient by consistently scoring a 4.0 or above on a five-point customer satisfaction scale for a calendar year.

This acknowledgement validates Micro Focus' leadership in delivering the powerful software solutions and outstanding customer support required to ensure that organizations gain lasting value from their enterprise applications. In addition, Micro Focus' Web-based support won the award for the second consecutive time, demonstrating that the organization is providing multiple channels of outstanding service.
