CICS Two-tier Support

• As an alternative to current deployment paradigms you can now eliminate the need for MQ Series or a middle tier using J2EE or .NET by deploying directly into IBM CICS Web Services on the mainframe.

Message Exits

• SOA Express now provides a user-customizable message exit you can use to manipulate the contents of SOA Express messages to and from the mainframe.

JCL Templates

• SOA Express now provides new JCL templates, for generating eBiz and Data Access Transactions, that are simpler to use. For existing projects, you can replace the existing JCL templates in current deployment directories with the new templates, found in the source\template\deploy\mainframe directory of your SOA Express installation. Project deployment directories specified for new projects automatically include these new templates.
