Micro Focus has therefore developed partnerships with major hardware vendors, key software platform providers and a wide range of migration solution providers.
Hardware Platform Partners
Intel, Sun, Hewlett Packard, and IBM are key hardware partners. We have long standing relationships with all four - backed by Technical Support , and Marketing Alliance agreements.
More recently we added agreements with Unisys and expanded our relationship with Hewlett Packard in order to better cover Microsoft Windows servers.
Software Platform Partners
Micro Focus provides some key elements of the software platform required to develop, extend and deploy your migrated applications, the other key elements of the target software platform are typically the target operating system and the target relational database.
Specifically related to migrating to Windows, our Windows products are integrated with Visual Studio .NET and we are a Gold Certified Microsoft partner.
Related to the target database we have long-term technology partnerships with the Microsoft, Oracle and IBM. We also have technology partnerships to support Microsoft Windows, IBM AIX, SUN Solaris, HP-UX, SCO UnixWare, and both Novell (SuSE) and Red Hat Linux.

Our migration partners enable Micro Focus to offer a breadth and depth of migration expertise not available from any other single source. We also work with a range of partners from some of the largest system integrators in the world to small, boutique, highly-focused migration technology specialists. This allows our customers to choose the appropriate level of partner to meet their specifc needs, timescales and budgets.

Over the last three decades, Micro Focus has established relationships with every major systems integrator. They have the critical mass to develop practices focused on a specific industry need, and through proven methodology, build repeatable processes needed to ensure success, even with the largest and most complex projects.
