Micro Focus (LSE:MCRO.L), the leading provider of enterprise application modernization, testing and management solutions, today announced the appointment of Steve Biondi as President, North American Operations. In this role, Biondi will oversee all of Micro Focus’ US and Canadian operations as the company continues to develop its North American business. He brings more than 30 years of management experience in the technology industry with a strong track record of leading sales and product development teams.
Most recently, Biondi was Vice President, OEM Sales for North and South America at VMware. At VMware, Biondi led the sales of hardware, software and services-attached VMware solutions to all leading hardware manufacturers in North and South America. Prior to joining VMware, Biondi spent more than 20 years with IBM, where he held a range of leadership and executive roles in General Business and in the Software Group, including Worldwide Director of Software Sales for Small and Mid Size Customers.
