The following is a list of Micro Focus products and their associated withdrawal schedules. The withdrawal process starts on the 'Product Sundown Start Date' and ends on the 'End of Service Date'. End of Service is the stage at which no further patches or corrective fixes will be created by the Micro Focus engineering team. Once the Product Sundown Start Date has been reached, the number of fixes and corrections will be reduced and limited to showstopper/critical issues only.  Advice and avoidance information on known issues is all that is available beyond the End of Service date. This information is being provided to you for future planning purposes. Many of the 'End of Service' products can still be ordered, but they will be subject to the engineering restrictions previously mentioned. You will still be able to contact Micro Focus SupportLine for assistance with these products, but any product defects you report will only be addressed in the currently supported version of that product, or its successor. Where applicable, the successor product or next version is given.

Any products not listed or versions earlier than those detailed here have already been withdrawn, but you still have the ability to contact Micro Focus technical support with issues related to those earlier product versions.

Support Services beyond the ‘End of Service Date’ are available for selected products via individual extended care agreements.  For sales in Japan please contact Micro Focus Japan for details of 5-year support.

Although Micro Focus endeavors to ensure all successor products offer upward compatibility from previously released products, this can not be 100% guaranteed. As such, it is strongly recommended that you schedule appropriate time in your migration plan to investigate any potential compatibility issues that may arise.

If you cannot locate the answers you need, or you would like more information about upgrading your Micro Focus products, please contact the Product Management Team at sundown@microfocus.com.
