New State-of-the-Art Datacenter Addresses EU-based Information Archiving, Privacy and Data Sovereignty Challenges
SUNNYVALE, CA – Micro Focus (LSE: MCRO; NYSE: MFGP) today announced that it has expanded its global datacenter network with the opening of a data hosting facility in Frankfurt, Germany. The new facility delivers Micro Focus' industry leading Information Archiving solutions to private organizations operating in the EU region enabling them to be better prepared in relation to compliance with regulatory, government and privacy mandates, including GDPR and other data privacy laws through a unified archiving approach.
The new datacenter provides businesses of all sizes the ability to capture and preserve numerous data types, such as email, mobile, social media communication, including attachments, files and transactional data. The data is captured in a way that enables customers to both optimize storage and allow immediate access for eDiscovery.

The opening of the German datacenter comes as demand for Micro Focus' Information Archiving solutions is accelerating rapidly in EMEA.
