Phil Rayment, VP Channel Sales Americas of Micro Focus, Recognized as 2019 CRN® Channel Chief

SUNNYVALE, CA – February 11, 2019 – Micro Focus (LSE: MCRO; NYSE: MFGP), announced today that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named Phil Rayment, VP Channel Sales Americas, to its prestigious list of 2019 Channel Chiefs. The top IT channel leaders included on this list continually strive to drive growth and revenue in their organization through their channel partners.

Each of the 2019 Channel Chiefs has demonstrated exceptional leadership, vision, and commitment to their channel partner programs. During this time, Micro Focus maintained 100% of the combined partner ecosystem, ensuring protection and growth of critical revenue streams for what became the seventh-largest pure play software company in the world that serves 98 of the top Fortune 100 companies.

As leader of the largest indirect revenue-producing region for Micro Focus, Rayment not only provided leadership on how to drive results in the present, but also on how to improve partnerships going forward. For instance, the company will soon announce a single, new global program delivering competitive partner benefits and pan-region consistency. The program’s simplified structure and streamlined processess will incorporate an industry-leading, dedicated portal, making it easier for partners to do business with Micro Focus, and delivering more-predictable partner revenue.
