7. Diff, Merge, Patch, and the Change Palette AccuRev provides a variety of tools for performing common developer tasks. For comparing files, you can either use AccuRev’s built-in diff tool or specify a third-party utility. AccuRev identifies files that must be merged, and can help you merge non-conflicting changes automatically, or provide you with the diff tool or the Change Palette to handle different types of merges manually. The Change Palette can also be used for patching files and cross-promoting them between streams.
