Verastream Host Integrator Release Notes, version 7.7 SP1 update 1

Verastream Host Integrator (VHI) version 7.7 SP1 update 1 released November 2018. These release notes list the features and known issues in this release and information on how to obtain the product. VHI integration encapsulates host functionality into services for rapid re-use in new applications.

What's New

This version of VHI provides increased usability enhancements as well as addressing security vulnerabilities.

• VHI now contains Azul Zulu OpenJDK 1.8. Updating to this version of OpenJDK helps address security vulnerabilities, along with providing additional benefits.
• You can now copy commands directly from the Operation Edit dialog box.
• The Next Packet feature, available on VT platforms, provides the ability navigate Model Debug Messages (.vmr) files using previous/next commands.
• In the Tables dialog you can now sort and filter procedures by name increasing usability.
• You can now resize the Procedure Filters area of the Procedure Test dialog box.
• Two commandline switches were added to the VMR.exe utility; a switch to include times in the text output and a switch to export text screenshots.
• You now have the ability to prefix the Model Debug Message VMR file name with a string obtained via the Java or .NET Appconn API
• The ability to set a default timeout property for commands is now available.
• Tooltips are now available to display names that were previously truncated due to length.
• Security and regulatory requirements for encryption are included in this release.
