License & Update

This page displays license information, the version of the components, and the elapsed time since ArcMC was last rebooted. From here, you can update ArcMC and apply a license.

Updating the Appliance

To update your ArcMC:

  1. Download the update file from the OpenText Support site to the computer from which you can connect to ArcMC.

  2. Click Administration > Setup > System Admin from the top-level menu bar.

  3. Click License & Update in the System section.

  4. Click Browse to locate the file.

  5. Click Upload Update.

    An “Update In Progress” page displays the update progress.

  6. Once the update has completed, the Update Results page displays the update result (success/failure) and whether the update requires a reboot. If the update requires a reboot, the ArcMC reboots automatically.

Updating the License File

To update a license file:

  1. Download the license update file from the OpenText Support site to the computer from which you can connect to the ArcMC with your browser.

  2. Log in to the ArcMC user interface using an account with administrator (upgrade) privileges.

  3. Click Administration > System Admin.

  4. Click License & Update in the System section.

  5. Browse to the license file you downloaded earlier, and click Upload Update.

    An “Update In Progress” page displays the update progress.

After the update has completed, the Update Results page displays the update result (success/failure). If you are installing or updating a license, a reboot is required.

Note: After updating the license file, refresh the browser to see the current list of enabled features.
