When you click on a parameter in the navigation tree of the iPackager page, the property page opens. The Parameter Object box is pre-populated with the parameter object name that is found on the report server. You can change the name of the parameter object. If you change the name here, the parameter object is packaged with the new name, but its original name on the report server will not change.
