NOTE:Manual reconfiguration is not available in Change Guardian.
If you are trying to reconfigure the agent to modify the agent configuration, consider doing it manually from the registry. Because manually launching the installer will reset the agent to its default configuration, and the latest configuration modifications will not be implemented.
Reconfigure agents if you have deployed the agents using Manage Agents dashboard:
To reconfigure:
In the web console, navigate to CONFIGURATIONS > Agents > Manage Agents.
Select the agent that you want to reconfigure and click Manage Installation > Reconfigure Agents.
Select the version and then select the default configuration. Modify the default configuration or add a new configuration.
Click Start Reconfiguration.
IMPORTANT:To reconfigure multiple agents, select agents of the same OS type together. This will ensure that the agents are reconfigured to a common agent version.
Ensure that the service NetIQChangeGuardianAgent is running in Windows Services.
If you used Client Agent Manager, ensure that the service NetIQClientAgentManager is running in Windows Services.
