To activate CCI tracing on a Fileshare server, you must add the following /tr parameter setting to the Fileshare Server configuration file:
/tr cci
Prior to starting the Fileshare Server, you also need to have enabled CCI tracing as described in Enabling CCI Tracing.
To prevent unauthorized access to the CCI information traced through Fileshare, you are prompted for the supervisor password (for user-id FSVIEW) when you invoke a Fileshare Server with CCI tracing enabled. If the password is accepted, CCI tracing is enabled, and a second prompt asks if CCI tracing should be activated immediately or not.
CCI tracing can be toggled on and off using the F3 key.
