Print Merge Configuration files
Print Merge configurations that are saved are accessed by clicking the Load option on the Send to Merge File dialogue.
Saved Print Merge configurations dialogue options
The Saved Print Merge configuration dialogue allows users to set a default template configuration, delete configurations, as well as Import and Export template configurations so they can be shared with other users.
Default
To set a default configuration, from the displayed list, select the configuration that is to be always displayed when creating a Print Merge, then click Default. The default configuration will be displayed in bold font.
Delete
Users can delete configuration templates if they are no longer required. This deletion will only impact the currently logged in user.
To delete configuration(s), from the displayed list, select, or tag, the configurations to be removed from the user's available configurations list, and then click Delete. The configuration templates are removed from the list without confirmation.
Importing Print Merge configurations
When a Print Merge configuration has been exported, the created file (.pmd) can be shared with other users to allow them to import the file into their Print Merge configuration template space.
To import a Print Merge configuration file:
- From the Saved Print Merge configuration dialogue, click Import.
An Open dialogue is displayed. - Navigate to the location that the exported Print Merge configuration file (.pmd) was saved to, click the file and then click Open.
- The Print Merge configuration file will be added to the list of Saved Print Merge configurations.
Exporting Print Merge configurations
When a Print Merge configuration has been exported, the created file (.pmd) can be shared with other users to allow them to import the file into their Print Merge configuration template space.
To import a Print Merge configuration file:
- From the Saved Print Merge configuration dialogue, click Export.
A Browse For Folder dialogue is displayed. - Navigate to the location that the Print Merge configuration file should be saved to and click OK.
- The Print Merge configuration file (.pmd) will be saved to the selected location and can be shared via email, file share etc. with other users to then import to their own Saved Print Merge configuration lists.
