Custom Contact types

Ten customisable Contact Types are available.

This enables you to add additional information to people who are involved in a business process.

Rather than using the type Other Contact, it enables you to assign tailored types to a record.

  1. To activate custom Contacts, start the caption editor using Administration - Caption Editor and navigate to Objects - Record - Child Object - Contact - Enumerated List - Contact Type.
  2. Select one of the Custom items and modify its caption.
  3. See Caption Editor.
  4. To add the custom Contacts to a record, use the Contacts tab on the record Properties or the New Record form.
  5. The custom Contacts are searchable using the Other Contact search methods
  6. There is no special search for each custom Contact type.
  7. To display the attached custom Contacts use the All Contacts View Pane option.
