Workflow template Activity Documents page

The Workflow template Activity Documents page enables you to manage the Activity's documents.

  1. Right-click a Workflow Activity and select Properties.
  2. Right-click in the blank area for the options:
    • Add
      • Add Working Document - set defaults for the working document placeholders for documents to be created or attached within this Activity.
        • Placeholder Title - proposed title for the new document
        • Record must be associated before Activity can be completed - select so that the user must select a document for the placeholder to complete the Activity
        • Supercopy from existing Record - click to search for an existing record to act as a template.

          Content Manager will copy that record and attach the copy to the Activity.

        • Default Record Type - sets the default record type for the document
        • Default Container - sets the default container for the document
      • Add Working Document (Review) - to select a Content Manager document a user needs to review during this Activity.

        The Select Document dialogue box appears.

        Expand a previous Activity and select a document placeholder to review

        NOTE: An Activity cannot have a review document created by an Activity following the current Activity.

      • Add Reference - select a Content Manager reference document to include in the Activity.

        The Select Document dialogue box appears.

        Expand a previous Activity and select a document placeholder to make a reference to

        NOTE: An Activity cannot reference the documents created by this Activity's successor Activities.

  3. Once the Activity has a document placeholder, you can right-click it for the options:
    • Copy - copies the metadata to the clipboard
    • Delete - removes the document from the Activity
    • Properties - displays the document or placeholder Properties window
