External links in Send To menu
This option is only available if you have defined target applications using the external link function to receive the value held in specified fields of a Content Manager record.
To define the target application and the specific field, see External Links.
Once the external links are set up in the Record Type, they will appear in the right-click Send To menu.
Sending the field value to the external application
- Perform a search for the record containing the data you want to send to the external application
- Right-click the record and select Send To - External Link
The specified Content Manager fields will be passed as parameter data to the target application.
