Modifying free text record titles
Free text titles have no structure; they are just text that Content Manager indexes.
This means there is no link to any data lists, for example, Thesaurus, Classification, Locations etc., so you can modify the title without affecting any other data:
- Search for the record whose title you want to modify
- Right-click the record and select Properties.
If the record is free text titled, then the title will appear in a single box titled Title (Free Text Part)
- Modify the free title text
- Click OK to save and index the changes.
