Barcode scanner General tab
- On the Manage ribbon, click Barcode Scanners.
- Right-click an existing scanner and click Properties or right-click and click New Barcode Scanner to create a new one.
- Name - what you choose to call your pen - for example, ASP Portable or Intermec Stationary
- Does scanner send ID label first? - the first barcode downloaded by many portable barcode scanners is an identifier for that device.
Select if your barcode scanner sends such an identification label automatically at the beginning of a batch download.
Leave clear if your scanner does not send an identification label.
- Does scanner send EOF label at end? - select if your barcode scanner sends an EOF at the end of a batch download that signifies End of file.
Leave clear if your scanner does not send an EOF at the end of a batch download.
