Checking in email with attachments
Content Manager enables you to check in email with attachments.
- In your email system, select the email(s) you want to check in
- In the toolbar, click the Check in button.
NOTE: It is advisable to check in email attachments separately from the email, otherwise you will not be able to search for the attachment as it will be embedded within the checked in email. Do this by selecting Check in Attachment(s). Content Manager prompts you to select from the available electronic Record Types.
- Select the appropriate one.
The New Record form for the selected Record Type appears.
- Complete the details as required, click OK.
The email and its attachments are now checked in to Content Manager.
