Creating an Content Manager reference to a saved search

This function enables you to create shortcuts to saved searches.

  1. From the Search menu, click Saved Record Searches or Saved Location Searches, depending on the type of saved search you want to create a reference for
  2. Right-click the saved search you want to reference and click Send To - Make Reference
  3. Choose the folder for the reference object, which will have a .tr5 file extension

You can then use Windows Explorer to drag the object into another application or use another application to retrieve the reference.
