Finding scheduled tasks
You can search for Content Manager scheduled tasks using practically any of the information about them that is saved in Content Manager.
However, the quickest way to view scheduled tasks for a record in Content Manager is to:
- Right-click the record, click Properties, and then select the tab Scheduled Tasks.
The scheduled tasks appear as a list.
The quickest way to see all scheduled tasks due is by expanding Trays in the shortcuts pane, and then clicking Scheduled Tasks Due.
These are the additional ways of finding the scheduled tasks you are looking for:
This is the pane in the main Content Manager window under the toolbars.
Use the fields:
- Search For - select Scheduled Tasks
- Search By - use KwikSelect to select a search method, for example record to find scheduled tasks for a specific record, or classification to find scheduled tasks for a specific Classification
- Matching criteria - enter the data to find, for example, record number or Classification name
- Run the search button - click to start the search

- Run a search for scheduled tasks using one of the methods described above
- Right-click in the list, even if there are no results, and on the Search menu, click Refine Search.
The Search for Scheduled Tasks dialogue box appears. - Use the Boolean search editor, or, to use the options below, switch to the multi-field editor:
- Status - to find scheduled tasks by their status:
- All
- Not Completed
- Overdue
- Completed
- Due for action in date range - to find only those scheduled tasks that are due between two specific dates
- Assigned To - to find only those scheduled tasks that have a specific assignee
- Only display containers and Records not in a container - select to refine your search further
- Status - to find scheduled tasks by their status:
- Optional - use the Filter and Sort tabs to refine your search results further:
- Descending - select to sort the results in descending order, for example, by Commencement Date
- Click OK.
Content Manager returns the scheduled tasks that match your criteria.
