Rescheduling Actions or Procedures
Once an Action or Procedure has been attached to a record, you can modify the Action's default start date.
- Search for the record with the attached Action or Procedure you want to modify
- Right-click and select Workflow - Show Actions/Procedures.
The Attached Actions/Procedures dialogue box will display all the attached Actions and Procedures.
- Right-click the Action whose start date you want to modify and select Reschedule.
The Reschedule Actions dialogue box appears.
- Type in the new base start date and time or use the calendar to select the date.
When an Action has been completed, use the Actual Duration rather than the Estimated Duration - calculate the actual time taken to complete the Action rather than the expected duration of the Action.
- Click OK.
Content Manager saves the changes to the Action.
NOTE:
- The Administration - System Options - Workflow page option Reschedule if an Action is completed early will only apply to a rescheduled Action if it is completed after the rescheduled start time, not before.
Therefore, if an Action is rescheduled to start at 9:45 AM and completed at 9:30 AM, subsequent Actions will not be rescheduled.
- When you insert another Procedure and modify the start date, the order of Procedures will change only when you refresh the screen - either by pressing F6 or by exiting and restarting Content Manager.
- The Administration - System Options - Workflow page option Reschedule if an Action is completed early will only apply to a rescheduled Action if it is completed after the rescheduled start time, not before.
