Changing Enclosed? to No
To un-enclose a record from its container, you must either:
- Remove the record permanently from its container.
See Removing records from containers.
This will both remove the record from its container and remove the record association with is container record - it will not delete the record from the dataset.
NOTE: When you permanently remove a record from its container, the option to enclose the record will remain unavailable.
The check box will be in this state because the record is currently Assigned to Home.
To un-enclose the record, set the Assignee as something other than its Home Location.
-- or --
- change the record's Assignee Location.
See Changing the Assignee Location.
This will un-enclose the record from its container but will still keep the container number, allowing you to enclose it again at a later date.
