Line

Line enables you to insert a line on the page of a report.

This line can be horizontal, vertical or diagonal.

1. In the Items Available to Add dialogue box, use Line to place the line on the report layout.
2. Double-click the line to display its properties in the Item Properties - Line placed in Band dialogue box.

   NOTE: The width of the line is measured in points and determines how far the line runs horizontally. If the width is 0, the line is vertical.

   The height of the line is measured in points and determines how far the line runs vertically. If the height is 0, the line is horizontal.

   • Thickness - the thickness is measured in points and determines the thickness of the printed line
   • Show line from top-right to bottom-left - reverse the orientation of the line.
   • Line Style - select from:
     • Solid
     • Dashed - a line of dashes
     • Dotted - a line of dots

     You can apply Dashed and Dotted only to lines with a thickness of 1 pt.
