Using Locations
Selecting existing Locations
When you are assigning Locations to items, e.g. records or Workflows and Content Manager cannot find the exact Location, it lists the best matching Locations it can find.
Sending email to Locations
When a Location, that could also be a record Contact, has an email address, you can double-click the email address in the view pane to open a new email message in Microsoft Outlook.
- Select or highlight the record that has the Contact Location attached
- In the view pane under the list of records, double-click the Contact name, for example in the Creator field. If the Contact field is not visible, right-click the view pane and use Customise to add it. See Modifying the view pane
- In the view pane, Email Address field, double-click the email address for Outlook to open the new email message. If the field is not visible, use Customise as in the previous step to show the field.
