Creating a record from the Classification list

Content Manager enables you to create new Classification titled records from the Classification list:

  1. From the Search menu, select Browse Via Classifications
  2. Navigate through the hierarchical list to the Classification you want to use to create the new record.

    The level must be set to be available for record creation.

  3. Right-click the level and select New - New Record.

    The list of available Record Types appears.

  4. Select a Record Type and click OK.

    The New Record form for the selected Record Type appears.

    The Classification is already filled in.

    You cannot change the selected Classification now.

  5. Complete the New Record form details as required and then click OK.
