Reference documents

Reference documents are used to present documents to an Activity for information purposes only.

Reference documents are made available to Activities by selecting them from a list of Workflow level defined reference documents and working documents that are created in the Workflow.

The latter makes it possible to create a document in one Activity, which is then available for reference only in another Activity - for example, one Activity generates a report, and a later Activity makes a decision based on the report.

NOTE: Any working document placeholders in an Activity cannot be used for reference by the same Activity.

You can make references to existing documents on the Workflow level. You can use any such reference for any Activity.
