Skipped Activities and the Audit log
Content Manager logs the audit log event Activity Being Skipped when a Workflow Activity has been skipped.
An Activity is skipped when an OR start condition can proceed due to one of its Activities being completed.
For example, when an Activity has two potential results,
Activity 1 = letter received
Activity 2 = draft reply
Activity 3a = draft reply approved
Activity 3b = draft reply rejected.
If the reply is approved (Activity 3a), then the rejected Activity (Activity 3b) will be skipped.
An email message will be sent to the officer responsible for a Workflow Activity that an Activity has been skipped.
You can set audit log options in Administration - Audit Options.
NOTE:
- Rollback results will not be displayed if they return to a skipped Activity
- When adding a new result, you cannot add one that is set to rollback to a skipped Activity.
