Specialised US DoD caveats
If the US DoD 5015.2 United States Department of Defense standard options are activated, you will be able to set up specialised security caveats:
- Restricted Data
- Formerly Restricted Data
You will need to create these caveats.
When these caveats are applied to a record, the options for declassifying and downgrading a record will be unavailable.
Therefore, the options to set or modify the security level and attached caveats will be unavailable.
NOTE:
- When US DoD security options are activated, the record defaults for its Record Type - if configured to use Restricted Data caveats - will require the security level to be other than No Marking.
- When Restricted Data caveats are added to a record with a security level of Unclassified, the user will be prompted to change security level.
- The caveat's Restricted Data and Formally Restricted Data can be applied - provided the user is allowed to use them - to any security classification they have access to.
- When Restricted Data caveats are added to a record, the fields on the Downgrade On and Declassify On tabs are not available for changes.
