The HTML Help viewer window

By default, your help file appears in a window with a toolbar at the top and the panes:

  • Navigation pane - on the left side of the window.
    It contains the navigational tabs:
    • Contents - to navigate the topics in the Help files. It shows the topics in a logical structure and also their relationship as topics and sub-topics.
    • Search.
      You can sort the search result alphabetically by all columns.
    • Favourites- a list of topics you may refer to often
  • Topic pane - on the right side of the window.

    It displays the selected Help topic or the default Help topic.
