Re-indexing

The reindex function indexes the text fields for the selected records.

  1. Search for and select the records you want to recreate the indexes for.
  2. Right-click the records and from the Administrative Tools menu, select Reindex.
  3. Select the options you want:
    • Reindex words - re-indexes text in fields like title and notes
    • Reindex Additional Fields - re-indexes Additional Field data
    • Reindex into Content Engine - re-indexes text so they be searched for using the content search methods
  4. Click OK.

    Content Manager re-indexes the record.
