Logging tab
- Enable logging on next deployment - activates detailed logging for the Workgroup Server.
This will take effect in the next deployment.
- Add log entries for internal workgroup server requests - most internal Workgroup Server calls found in theWorkgroup Server log are now suppressible; the most notable examples are select statements on the event table for event processing. This parameter allows administrators to turn off those server calls to reduce the size of their logs and to highlight problems. Exclusions to this suppression are any errors and client requests (unless logging is turned off altogether).
- Add user query strings to the workgroup server log - when a user performs a query, the Workgroup Server log entry will also contain the original query string as composed by the client.
- When logging SQL strings, display the unparameterized SQL - enabled by default - displays any SQL that is logged into the Workgroup Server log in it's unparametrized form.
- Add log entries from RCF - select this option to enable RCF logging for the Workgroup Server. RCF logging provides network level information for connections between the Workgroup Server and its clients.
