Classification Workflow/Actions page
The Classification Workflow/Action page enables you to set up the Workflow and Actions defaults for the Cagetory.
NOTE: The Workflow/Action settings applied to a Classification will override the Record Type Workflow/Action settings.
- If there is a default Workflow/Action assigned to both the Classification and the Record Type, the Classification's Workflow/Action will be applied to the record.
- If the Days Until Day settings are greater than 0 on the Classification, then this will be used for setting the initial due date rather than the Record Type's setting.
- The Set the due date to the due date of the current action setting from the Classification will apply.
- Initiate Workflow based on a template - optional.
Specify a default Workflow template that is to be applied to new records that are titled with this Classification.
- Initiate Action - optional.
Specify a default Action or Procedure that is to be applied to new records that are titled with this Classification.
- Days Until Due - optional. Use when you are creating documents that require an Action to be performed within a certain time period from the date of registration.
These options are not applicable to Workflow.
- Set to a number of days after Record creation - set the number of business days that are to be calculated until the due date.
A value in this field enables the Due Date field to be used independently of Action tracking and Workflow.
- Set the Due date to the Due Date of the Current Action - sets the due date to be based on the current Action of the record.
Makes the Due Date field unavailable.
- Set to Nothing - sets the Classification to not attach any Actions or Workflows to new records.
This means that the due date will be blank and users can enter a date.
- Set to a number of days after Record creation - set the number of business days that are to be calculated until the due date.
