Access tab

On the External Link properties dialogue box, on the Access tab, there are two options that allow you to set specific user access permissions to be able to update or use the External Link:

• Users need update access to the selected object(s) to execute menu item(s) - select this option to allow only users with the Update access control permission to send items to the External Link.
• Users need the selected permission to execute menu item(s) - select this option and the required user permission from the drop-down list that users will need to allow them to send items to the External Link.
