Backup a copy to Manage In Place

Manage In Place tab allows you to keep a backup of the document you are registering either in the document store pool or document store of your choice. You can access this tab from either the Properties of respective document store or when creating a new document store.

The following are the options:

  • When registering a document, keep a backup copy in Content Manager - select this option to keep a copy of the document in Content Manager.

    • Add backup copies to a document store from the nominated document store pool - enter the name of the document store pool in the text box and select the desired pool from the drop-down or click KwikSelect and select from the list of document store pools. OR
    • Add backup copies to the nominated document store - enter the name of the document store or click KwikSelect and select from the list of document stores.
