Review and Authorise Document
The Review Document menu option is available when a document review has started. See Start Review and Authorisation.
NOTE: If you are a reviewer for a record and the record is ready for review but you haven't completed your review, then the record will appear in your Records Due Tray and also the Records In Or Due Tray. See Trays.
- Right-click the record you want to review, point to Document Review and click Review Document.
The Add comments and set the review status for the selected document dialogue box appears. You can do the following in the Comments for the editor:
- Click in the blank area for a cursor.
- Type your notes.
- Click User Stamp to add a user stamp where your cursor is at that time.
- Click Spelling to run the spelling check.
- Click OK to save your notes.
- I have completed my review of this document - select to complete the review.
- Click OK.
Content Manager saves any updates.
The Authorise Document menu option is available when the document review has been completed.
NOTE: If you are an authoriser for a record and the record is ready for authorisation but you haven't completed your authorisation, then the record will appear in your Records Due Tray and also the Records In Or Due Tray. See Trays. Note that if you are using DocuSign, there will be a delay between when you authorise with DocuSign and when Content Manager finally learns about this authorisation.
- Right-click the record you want to authorise, point to Document Review and click Authorise Document.
