Client/Matter search methods
While you can use Search - Browse Clients and Matters to see all client and matter record that you have access to, you can search for records by their specific client and matter data.
- From the Search menu, select Find Records
- At the bottom of the dialogue, click the Editor button and make sure that the Boolean search editor is selected
- Click KwikSelect beside the Search By box
- Click the expand symbol to expand Client/Matter
- Select one of the search methods.
In the space below the list, you can see more detail about the search method.
The column Caption shows the field or data the search method is about, for example:- Client Of - finds the client records of the selected record
- Client Record - to find specific client records
- Client/Matter Party - to find records that have a specified Location as interested party
- Client/Matter Party Details - to find records with client/matter parties that meet specific criteria
- Client/Matter Role - to find records that have a specified Location as playing a role for the client
- Client/Matter Role Details - to find records with client/matter roles that meet specific criteria
- Matter Record - to find specific client records
- Click OK to return to the Search for Records dialogue
- Select the options to use for the search and click OK to run the search.
Content Manager returns the search result.
