Boolean fields

If you select a Boolean Yes/No field, the Properties dialogue box will display the following options:

• Alternative Caption - an alternative caption to display with this field.

  This will overwrite any captions set in the caption editor.

  See Caption Editor.

• Read Only Field - select to make the field read-only, which means that users will not be able to enter or change the data in it
• Always Display Full Width - select to make that field span both columns of a double-column New Record form, i.e. it will stretch the field to the width of the New Record form.

  This will work only when the width of the field is not restricted.

  NOTE: Use this option with the Page property Display Field Captions above the Field on a Record Type's New Record form.

• Default to Yes - sets the field default to display Yes on the New Record form
