Date and time Additional Fields
A date field is a field that is set to use dates only.
Once this format is selected, the following option becomes available:
- Default Value - set a default value that will appear in the field when it is used for an object.
Use the calendar function to either select a date from the calendar, or use the drop-down list to select a predefined date range:
- Today
- Tomorrow
- Yesterday.
A Date and Time field is a field that is set to use dates and times only.
Once this format is selected, the following option becomes available:
- Time is Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) - select this check box to never convert to local time.
NOTE: Enabling UTC means that:
- When you enter a value for this field on a data entry form, it is expected that you will be entering the date in UTC
- When you search for records based on one of these fields, you will be entering any search dates as UTC
When the field value is displayed, it will display the suffix "(UTC)".

NOTE: Content Manager will capture the date received for email messages as Date Received. To support multilingual sites, the following values can be used:
- English - Date Received
- Dutch - Ontvangstdatum
- French - Date de reception.
