Enclosed? field properties

The Enclosed field properties are different from other fields.

When you have this field on your New Record form and you have Default To Yes selected, when using the tasks Container or you drop a record onto a container, Content Manager will select Enclosed.

• Alternative Caption - sets an alternative caption to display with this field.

  This will overwrite captions set in the caption editor.

  See Caption Editor.

• Read Only Field - will make the field unavailable.

  Users will not be able to enter information in this field when creating new records, but they can read the default data in them.

• Always Display Full Width - select for the field to span both columns of a double-column New Record form.

  It will stretch the field to the width of the New Record form.

  This will apply only if the width of the field is not restricted.

  NOTE: Use this option with the page property on a Record Type Form Display Field Captions above the Field.

• Default To Yes - will make the field on the New Record form default to Yes to indicate that the record is enclosed in its container
