System Options Events page

IMPORTANT: If your organization or service provided has opted to use the Content Manager Administration client, this page will not be available in the Content Manager client System Options. To enable or disable any of these options, you will need to access the Content Manager Administration client. See the Content Manager Enterprise Studio - Dataset setup and maintenance - Content Manager Administration client help for further information.

On the Administration tab, click System Options. Select the Events page to set indexing options to enable accurate searching of record title and notes fields, pending events, Additional Fields and to set the time zone for event statistics.

  • Create events for maintaining Record title and notes indexes - select to use the Content Manager word indexing event processor record title and notes changes. Selected by default.

  • Create events for maintaining pending disposition change indexes - select to make Review Status searches work for the dataset: Every time a user modifies a Retention Schedule, Content Manager creates events and recalculates the retention schedule triggers of the records associated with that schedule.
    You also need to set up the Workgroup Server to process events for Retention Schedule triggers:
    In Content Manager Enterprise Studio, right-click the dataset and on the Event Processing menu, click Configure and under Configuration Status, for Schedule Event Triggers, select Enabled. Selected by default.

  • Create events for notifying modifications to Additional Field values - select to have a separate entry in the audit log every time an Additional Field value changes.
