Fields tab

This tab enables you to select which fields to include in the Web publisher layout:

• Object Type to be Published - select the type of object that will be published.

  See Available and published fields for a list of the data types that can be published.

• Number of Items per Page - define how many records shall display per page in the resultant layout.

  This field limits the number of records that can appear on a Web page.

  If you enter a number in this field, then as many separate Web Pages as necessary will be created to contain all the records.

  If you leave this field blank, then all records will be displayed on one Web Page, which will require the user to scroll down the page when viewing it with a Web browser.

  NOTE: This field is effective only when a Web page is published as an index page in basic layout. A layout that is used for a detail page in full detail layout will only display one record per page regardless of the number shown in this field.

• Put fields in a Table - arrange all fields in table format
• Put fields in a List - will add the first field above the other fields in the page, with all subsequent fields listed beneath the first field in a row
• Available Fields and Published Fields lists - these lists contain the fields you can publish and the fields selected to be published.

  Use the Add or Add All and Remove or Remove All buttons to move fields from one list to another.

  Use the Up and Down buttons to reorder the fields.
