List of shortcut keys

NOTE: Some of the shortcut keys may be standard Windows navigation shortcuts and not specific to Content Manager.

Search - Browse Via Classifications CTRL+F3 Opens a Classifications window allowing you to view records using a selected Classification
Search - Find Activities CTRL+Y Searches for Activities
Search - Find Workflows CTRL+W Searches for Workflows
Search - Find Communications CTRL+Q Searches for Communications
Search - Current Search - Refine Search F7 Modifies the search criteria for the selected search results
Search - Current Search - Go Back ALT+Left key Returns to your previous search results
Search - Current Search - Go Forward ALT+Right key Displays your next search results
Search - Current Search - Jump CTRL+J Opens the selected items parent item. Available on right-click menus for lists.
Search - Current Search - Refresh Search F5 Refreshes your selected search results
Search - Current Search - Select Favourites CTRL+I Displays your favourite records. For example, if you select records in a Classifications browser, CTRL+I will display your Favourite records instead of Favourite Classifications. If in Space management, it will display your Favourite Space levels.
Search - Favourites - Records ALT+F3 Displays your favourite records
Search - Recent - Recent Containers ALT+F2 Displays containers you have recently accessed
Search - Recent - Recent documents CTRL+F2 Displays documents you have recently accessed
Search - Trays - Records Work Tray ALT+F8 Displays records in your Work tray
Search - Trays - Records In ALT+F5 Displays any records currently assigned to you
Search - Trays - Records Due ALT+F6 Displays any records that have a due date for you
Search - Trays - Records In Or Due ALT+F7 Displays records currently assigned to you and records that have a due date for you in one window
Search - Trays - Offline Records F8 Displays records in your Offline Records list (Drafts etc)
Search - Trays - Documents Checked Out ALT+F1 Displays records you have currently checked out
Select from dialog - Run the search F2 On a Select from... dialogue that has a Quick Search available, click F2 to run the search.
Help - Use Default Layout CTRL+SHIFT+T Resets your Content Manager session to use Content Manager default settings rather that user-customised settings. This option can be turned on and off again by selecting it
View - Reload F6 Reload/reload all windows
View - Refresh F5 Refreshes the selected window (same as Search - Current Search - Refresh Search)
OK Enter Uses the OK button on a dialogue
Cancel Escape Uses the Cancel button on a dialogue
Help F1 Displays the Help file topic associated with the function

SHIFT+F10 Opens right-click menu
N/A CTRL+E Redisplays the whole control list - for example, If in Space management, it will display the entire Space management levels list
Drop-down list, Spell check or Calendar ALT+DOWN ARROW Equivalent of clicking the drop-down list button. If no list box is available on the field, this will activate any other box on the field, for example, spelling checker or calendar
KwikSelect ALT+UP ARROW Equivalent of clicking KwikSelect. If no KwikSelect is available on the field, this will activate any other box on the field, for example, spelling checker or calendar
Tags SPACE BAR Tags current record in search results window
N/A Right mouse button in a record's list pane details Tags records in search results window. Access to Refine Search and all Browse and Navigation menu functions
N/A Right mouse button over a record's view pane details Uses to copy the selected field to the windows clipboard or to change your view pane details
N/A ALT+A Workflow - add a result to an Activity
N/A CTRL+O Edits a document. Checks out a selected document and displays it in its native application for editing. When you close the document, it will be checked in again.
File - New CTRL+N Creates a new item, record, Location etc
File - Save Record CTRL+S Saves a new record
File - Properties ALT+ENTER Opens the properties of the selected item
File - Send To - Make Reference CTRL+R Makes a reference file to send to other users
Edit - Undo CTRL+Z Undoes the last thing you did
Edit - Cut CTRL+X Cuts the selection to your clipboard
Edit - Copy CTRL+C Copies the selection to your clipboard
Edit - Paste CTRL+V Pastes the selection to your clipboard
Edit - Clear CTRL+Delete Clears the selected field
Edit - Tag All CTRL+A Tags all items in the active list
Edit - Untag All CTRL+U Clears the tags for all the items in the active list
  SHIFT+ENTER Adds a new line into a multi-line text boxes such as Text Custom Properties, Notes fields.
Note: this keyboard shortcut does not apply to the Title (Free Text Part) field, multi-lines are not supported for this field.
