Content Manager references

This function enables you to create shortcuts to records in Content Manager. Sending a Content Manager reference to a number of staff by email who may be interested in a set of documents is a far more effective and network resource-friendly method than sending copies of documents.

Double-click the reference object with the extension .tr5 to start Content Manager and display the selected records.

By default, Content Manager uses Content Manager rich client to open .tr5 files. You can use the Options Startup page to set whether to use the Content Manager rich client or Content Manager Desktop to open .tr5 files.

If you do have a session of Content Manager running, you can drag the reference onto it to automatically display the records.
