Refreshing searches

In records and document management, it is common for records to be created and modified all the time.

When you have performed a search or navigated to a list, it will not include any items that are created or modified after the search. If other users have updated an item, you need to refresh the search to see the most recent changes.

Rather that redoing the search from the start, you can refresh or reload your search results so that it includes any new data:

  • Refresh (F5 key) - will check the dataset then update the current search results window.
  • Reload (F6 key) - will check the dataset and update all windows, even those minimised. Also empties the cache.
