Number Additional Fields

A number field is a field that can be set to use numbers only.

Once this format is selected, the following options become available:

• Allow negative numbers - select this option to allow users to enter negative numbers.

• Suppress number display value formatting - select this option to display the values without delimiter or separator.

• Minimum Value - sets the lowest value that the field may have.

  This is a value field rather than a character length field, for example, 1.

  The minimum allowed value is -2,147,483,648

• Maximum Value - sets the highest value that the field may have.

  This is a value field, rather than a character length field, for example, 16383.

  The maximum allowed value is 2,147,483,647

  NOTE:

  • Setting the maximum and minimum values will automatically set the size of the field

• Default Value - set a default value that will appear in the field when it is attached to an object.
